2. What data do we collect?

Healthcare Providers:

• Profile information: name, gender, location, languages, cultural background, specialties, treatment methods, contact details, etc.
• Optional: BIG registration, SKJ registration or other professional registrations
• Payment data (via Stripe)
• Preferences for communication and newsletters

Care Seekers (users):

• We currently do NOT collect personal data from users, except anonymized information via Google Analytics

3. Why do we collect this data?

We process data for the following purposes:

• Enable healthcare providers to create and manage their profile
• Improve the user experience of the platform
• Statistical analysis of platform usage
• Communication and newsletter (only if the healthcare provider does not opt out)
• Billing via Stripe

We process data based on:

• Consent (upon registration or when checking options)
• Performance of a contract (e.g., for paid services)
• Legitimate interest (e.g., improving service delivery)

• Healthcare provider data is retained as long as the profile is active
• Healthcare providers can have their data deleted by sending an email to info@gemoedje.nl

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures:

• SSL certificate for secure connections
• Secure login for healthcare providers and administrators
• Only necessary personnel have access to the data

8. Rights of data subjects

Healthcare providers have the right to:

• View, modify or delete their data via their profile
• Have their data completely deleted by contacting info@gemoedje.nl
• Object to certain forms of processing

9. International data transfer

Because we use tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp and Stripe, data processing may take place outside the EU. We ensure that this happens in accordance with GDPR, including via standard contractual clauses.
