1. Introduction

Welcome to Gemoedje.nl, an online platform developed and managed by Alonzo Okobia (trading name: Gemoedje.nl, sole proprietorship). Gemoedje.nl aims to help care seekers find a suitable healthcare provider based on personal preferences.

By using Gemoedje.nl you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to both healthcare providers and users (care seekers).

2. Purpose and use of the platform

2.1 Care seekers

Gemoedje.nl enables care seekers to find suitable healthcare providers through an extensive search engine with filters. Care seekers may only use the platform for personal use. It is not permitted to collect, reuse or commercially exploit data from healthcare providers.

2.2 Healthcare providers

Healthcare providers may create and complete a profile to be findable for care seekers. It is not permitted to use data from other healthcare providers or users in any way commercially. Contact and services outside the platform are entirely the responsibility of healthcare provider and care seeker.

3. Accounts and management

3.1 Account registration

Healthcare providers must create an account to be visible on the platform.

3.2 Account deletion

A healthcare provider can have their account deleted at any time by sending a request to info@gemoedje.nl.

3.3 Misuse

In case of forms of misuse, Gemoedje.nl reserves the right to temporarily block or permanently delete accounts. Where possible, contact is first made with the relevant user to resolve the issue.

4. Responsibility and liability

4.1 No mediation

Gemoedje.nl does not actively mediate between healthcare provider and care seeker. The platform only provides an overview of available healthcare providers.

4.2 Quality of care

Gemoedje.nl is not responsible for the quality of care provided, treatments or communication between healthcare provider and care seeker.

5. Payments and memberships

5.1 Memberships

Gemoedje.nl offers the following memberships for healthcare providers:

• Basic (free)
• Premium Monthly subscription
• Premium Annual subscription

5.2 Cancellation and renewal

All paid memberships are automatically renewed. Cancellation must be done via email to info@gemoedje.nl. Refunds are not possible.

6. Bookings and invoices

Although the platform offers the possibility to book sessions and generate invoices in the future, this is not yet available at this time. At a later stage, healthcare providers will be able to manage bookings and invoices through their dashboard. Gemoedje.nl is not responsible for payment or non-payment of invoices between healthcare provider and care seeker.

7. Intellectual property

All content on Gemoedje.nl (such as texts, designs, logos and software) is owned by Gemoedje.nl or its partners and may not be copied or used without permission.

8. Applicable law

These Terms of Service are exclusively governed by Dutch law. In case of disputes, the Dutch legal system applies, with no specific court designated.
